We often come across the abbreviation DEN with hosiery. What does it mean? DEN or also denier means the strength or weight of the yarn. The lower the number, the thinner and more transparent the tights. Conversely, the higher the number, the stronger and stronger the tights.

15 DEN and below - Ultra thin

These tights are suitable for use in the summer months or for festive occasions. They give the impression of naked legs. They unify the color of the legs, smooth them and give them a fresh look. They can also be used in sandals and strappy shoes.

15-20 DEN - Regular

These tights and tights are the most common type. They are made with a reinforced toe and a seat or without. They can have different finishes and colors.

30-40 DEN - Reinforced

They have twice the strength, are more durable, but still retain transparency. They cover up major leg imperfections. They are made with a reinforced toe and with or without a seat. They can have different finishes and colors.

40-90 DEN - Semi-transparent

The ideal product for spring or autumn. A wide range of finishes and colors.

100 DEN and more - Opaque

Great for winter. They are durable and warm. In different finishes.
